Description

A bottle of Hampden Pure Single Rum from Jamaica. This was distilled in 2016 in a double retort pot still, matured for five years, and bottled in 2021 by Habitation Velier.

HLCF is the mark identifying newmake spirit with an ester count of 850 - 1000 gr/laa, the highest of any expression from Hampden distillery. To put this in perspective, a standard Overproof rum may have an ester count of 100 - 200 gr/laa.
