Description

A bottle of 1988 La Grande Dame, the flagship 'prestige cuvée' Champagne from Veuve Clicquot.

'Dominique Demarville’s preferred vintage because it is more 'classically delicate, light and creamy.' As yellow in the glass as their famous label, almost. Very toasty on the nose. Delightfully acrid. Full bodied and plump.' 17/20 July 2012, Jancis Robinson.
