Description

A bottle of Bowmore 40 year old single malt scotch whisky. This was distilled on 22 November 1955 and matured firstly in an ex-bourbon hogshead before being transferred to a sherry butt and bottled in a crystal decanter made by Caithness Glass, while the wooden cabinet was hand-made by Charles Kirkby & Sons. in Sheffield, England.

Only 306 of these single malt whiskies were ever produced, with 12 kept in the Bowmore Vaults at the distillery.
