Description

A bottle of Highland Clan 10 Year Old blended Scotch whisky. This was blended and bottled by The Highland Bonding Co., and imported for the US market by Joe Grein & J Pahls Inc., Chicago. We estimate this was bottled in the 1930s, and certainly before 1945.

Please note, we suspect this whisky is no longer suitable for drinking.

This bottle is from the collection of Bill Pigati, whose family have owned Del Rio, a famous restaurant near Chicago, since the 1920s.

The majority of the bottles in the collection were purchased in the 1940s and early 1950s, and it is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies, which were very popular during the period.
