Description

A bottle of Carter's Black & Gold blended Scotch whisky. This was imported by Malgor & Co., Puerto Rico, we estimate in the 1950s.

This bottle is from the collection of Bill Pigati, whose family have owned Del Rio, a famous restaurant near Chicago, since the 1920s.

The majority of the bottles in the collection were purchased in the 1940s and early 1950s, and it is mainly comprised of blended Scotch whiskies, which were very popular during the period.

This Carter's Black & Gold sold at our online auction for £90
