Description

A bottle of Foursquare 11 Year Old Full Proof Barbados rum. This was distilled in 2004, matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at cask strength in September 2015.

RL Seale & Company, the founder of Foursquare distillery, was established in 1920 in Barbados. Today the company and distillery are still under family ownership. Foursquare is known for its experimentation, using both pot and column stills for distillation, and a variety of cask types, including sherry, port, Madeira and Zinfandel, for maturation.
