A bottle of 1972 Château Climens 1er Cru from from Barsac, a sub-appellation of Sauternes known for its slightly drier, more elegant style.
Climens is a 30 hectare property planted with 100% Sémillon, and is one of the greatest of all Sauternes producers, vying with Château Coutet as the top producer in the Barsac appellation.
