A bottle of 1997 Côte Rôtie Les Jumelles and bottled by Paul Joboulet Aine. Spread over two hectares of the Côte Brune and the Côte Blonde, Maison Paul Jaboulet Ainé vinifies a fine and delicate Côte-Rôtie. Syrah, the only grape variety of which it is composed, therefore benefits from the specificities of these two plots: one being composed of silica and limestone (the Côte Blonde), and the other of clay and iron oxide (the Côte Brune). The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels, with a proportion of new wood around 20%.
