Description

A bottle of Taylor's 1985 Vintage Port, bottled in 1987. This was shipped by Taylor Fladgate & Yeatman and imported by Kobrand Corporatin, New York, N.Y., Sole U.S Importers.

'Meaty, raspberry, blackberry, dark chocolate, fresh blueberry – a wonderful combo. Tobacco, sausagemeat, smoke, leather, smooth tannins and fabulous vivacity. 18/20'

Please note, the label states this is a 37.5cl bottle, but this is in fact a 75cl bottle, as per the embossed glass on the base.

This lot comes from the cellar of our Whisky Exchange colleague; author, wine educator and fortified wine authority, the late Godfrey Spence.

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear. This appears to have a good fill level as it weights 1.34 kg. Please note, the label states this is a 37.5cl bottle, but this is in fact a 75cl bottle.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale.
