Description

A bottle of Glenfiddich Special Old Reserve Single Pure Malt Scotch Whisky presented in a Clans of the Highlands of Scotland presentation tin. We estimate this was bottled in the 1980s.

This tin celebrates Clan MacPherson who first prospered by assisting King Robert the Bruce, who rewarded them by giving them the lands around Cluny, where the clan built their famous castle. Later, following his defeat at the Battle of Culloden, the MacPhersons helped Bonnie Prince Charlie escape.
