A bottle of Plantation Very Special Old Reserve Rum from Guatemala. This was matured for 3 years in bourbon casks in Guatemala's tropical climate, then transferred to a Ferrand casks for a further 4 months continental maturation, followed by a final 8 month maturation period in Madeira casks. This was bottled in 2023.
This is bottle number 262 from cask #09 and was specially bottled at 49.4% ABV for Yorkshire wine and spirits merchant StarmoreBoss.
