A bottle of The Macallan 1971 Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This was distilled in 1971, matured in two sherry wood casks and bottled in 1995 by Italian importer Samaroli.

This is bottle number 36 of 540; it was bottled from casks number 16/17.

This is an early example of a Samaroli bottling actually filled by Silvano's own company, as his long-running contract with R.W. Duthie in Aberdeen had ended not long before.
