'Bright ruby. Gamey nose. Sweet start and lots of pleasure here. Good lift and the excitement of herbs and spices. A real peacock’s tail of flavour on the end. Sweet and herbal. Still quite a bit of fine tannin. 17/20 points' Jancis Robinson MW, Tasted 2017

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
