Description

A bottle of 1976 Riesling Auslese from August Anheuser in Germany's Nahe region, harvested from the Kreuznacher Narrenkappe vineyard.

Auslese means 'select harvest' and refers to hand harvested whole bunches of fruit featuring nobly rotten clusters, resulting in juice with between 191 and 260 grams per litre of sugar.
