This lot contains a six bottle box of Hambledon Vineyard Première Cuvée Meunier Zero Dosage Rosé sparkling wine, produced in Hampshire using the saignée method. These are from a run of 3400 bottles.
Hambledon Zero Dosage Rose 100% Meunier was produced exclusively from estate-grown Meunier grapes in the historic village of Hambledon in Hampshire. The vineyard’s cool climate combined with the finest chalk soils create an ideal terroir to show this grape’s true potential. It is rare and allocated – only available in very limited quantities.
Blend: 100% Meunier mostly from the 2015 harvest with barrel-aged reserve wines added to the blend.
Ageing: 35 months on the lees minimum.
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear.
The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
