A bottle of Sandeman Royal Ambrosante Palo Cortado Sherry. We estimate this was bottled in the 1960s.
Palo Cortado is a style of sherry which begins life as a Fino protected from oxygen by a thin layer of surface-yeast 'flor', before finishing its life ageing oxidatively, concentrating its flavour and alcohol.
