A bottle of Aberlour 15 Year Old. This was matured in both sherry and bourbon casks before a further finishing period spent in sherry wood.

Aberlour distillery was founded in 1879 by James Fleming. It is located at the confluence of the rivers Spey and Lour and its water source is St Drostan's Well. When journalist and distilling historian Alfred Barnard visited the distillery in the 1880s he described it as 'the perfect modern distillery'. Today, Aberlour is owned by Chivas Brothers.
