An old bottling of Midleton Very Rare, this is from the 1997 release – now even more rare.

Every year since 1984 a new vintage has been produced and bottled in limited quantities.

Barry Crockett, the now-retired master distiller, personally selected whiskeys matured only in bourbon casks, aged generally up to 25-27 years.

A hugely popular luxury Irish blended whiskey.
