A large format bottle of Apothicaire de L'Armagnac Baco 1983, bottled in a traditional 2.5-litre pot for Lionel Osmin & Cie.
Baco (or Baco 22A ) is a hybrid grape variety crossing of Folle blanche (its Vitis vinifera parent) and the Noah variety, which is a cross of Vitis labrusca and Vitis riparia. It was created in 1898 by the François Baco, and is only permitted or used in France in the production of Armagnac.
