Description

A magnum bottle of 2021 Pieropan Calvarino Soave Classico from Veneto, released in 2021 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the release of the first single-vineyard wine in Soave in 1971.

At 200 to 300 metres above sea level Calvarino means 'little calvary' taking its name from the challenges of working of working in such a steep vineyard. The vines are between 30 and 60 year old Garganega and Trebbiano grown organically on basalt-based soils.
