Description

This lot contains two half bottles of Cockburn's 1950 Vintage Port.

This 1950 Cockburn's Vintage Port sold at our online auction for £90

Condition

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear. Please note these do not have labels. The vintage and shipper are visible on the top of the capsule. Fill levels are top shoulder and base of neck. One of the corks is low in the neck by 2-3mm.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
