A bottle of 1985 Dom Pérignon Oenothèque vintage Champagne from Möet & Chandon, a late-disgorged bottling which has spent an additional seven years on its lees versus the 'standard' release; this was disgorged in 1999.
From one of the classic post-war vintages in Champagne, the 1985 Dom Pérignon earned a score of 96 in Wine Spectator magazine, the highest rating for a 1980s vintage.
