A heavy reproduction pewter decanter or flask believed to be manufactured by Pierre Deux in France, possibly in the 1980s.
This shows William of Orange at the battle of Cassel in 1677.
On one side there is the date 1677 and a wreath with initials HGS, FW and WP alongside makers' marks. On the inside of the base is included the mark 95% ETAIN indicating the inclusion of 95% of tin in the blend of the alloy following the prohibition of lead.
This measures approximately 21.5cm x 16.5cm x 4.5cm
