Description

This booklet is a reprint of the chapter on the Maison Moet & Chandon in Champagne: the Wine, the Land and the People by Patrick Forbes, which was published in London in 1967 by Victor Gollancz Ltd. and in New York in the same year by Reynal & Company in association with William Morrow & Company.

The author has made a few small amendments to the chapter to bring it up to date, and he has added a study of the Maison's customers in the early nineteenth century which had to be omitted from the book for reasons of space.
