A 50cl bottle of 2011 Tintilla De Rota De Finca Moncloa produced by Gonzalez Byass in Cadiz.

Tintilla de Rota is a synonym for Graciano, regarded as one of Rioja’s finest grape varieties, which in this case are sundried before fermentation until they reach around 5% alcohol priot to fortification to 14.5% alcohol by volume with the addition of grape spirit. The wine is then matured in French oak barrels for a year.

This is bottle number 1396 of 2040.

This 2011 Tintilla De Rota De Finca Moncloa sold at our online auction for £28

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
