A bottle of 1964 Gattinara Luigi Nervi made from Nebbiolo grapes (known locally by the synonym 'Spanna') in Alto Piemonte, 100 kilometres north of Barolo. Gattinara was awarded DOC status in 1967 and DOCG classification in 1990.
