A bottle of 1976 La Grande Dame, the flagship 'prestige cuvée' Champagne from Veuve Clicquot, a 62% Pinot Noir and 38% Chardonnay blend.

This is the old presentation in the curvier bottle which was changed into a broader design from the 1985 vintage onwards.

'Many years went by before I ran into this fantastic wine.
