A bottle of 1920 Blandy's Bual Madeira, bottled in 2004 by the Madeira Wine Company.

Boal (or Bual) is a high acid, early-maturing grape variety which performs best on the lower slopes of the south side of the island of Madeira. With its green apple, spice and coffee characters and sweetness of around 80 to 100 grams per litre of residual sugar, it can be incredibly long-lived.
