Description

Bottle #001 of the latest Experimental Cask release from the multi-award-winning Ninefold rum distillery. Only 200 bottles were released of this edition. This is your last chance to get your hands on this rare beast, kindly donated by the distillery to raise funds for Equal Measures UK.

This third experimental cask release is a three-year-old Scottish rum aged exclusively in ex-bourbon (Woodford Reserve). Casked in April 2020 at the start of the UK’s first Covid-19 lockdown, the distillate was re-distilled feints from our experimental batches a year prior, also known as the ‘Queen’s Share’. Ninefold do not chill filter, colour, or add sugar to their rums. Some cask sediment may be present.

Tasting notes: Coconut, creamy hazelnuts, toffee, buttered popcorn, sweet, summer fruits, bubble gum, cotton candy, spiced sultanas, black tea, oak, stewed raspberries, redcurrants.
