Description
This lot contains three bottles of 1995 Château D'Epiré Savennières Demi-Sec produced from vineyards situated on the north bank of the Loire in the Anjou-Saumur subregion. More full-bodied than Vouvray and with higher acidity, Savennières is generally a dry wine. This demi-secs version is around 8 to 18 grams of residual sugar per litre.
These bottles come from the collection of a Loire valley wine connoisseur who paid annual visits to Loire valley producers from the late 1980s onward, building up a fantastic inventory of bottles at all sweetness levels. These were stored in the UK in an underground WWII air raid shelter after collection straight from the producers.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
