A 50cl bottle of Bowmore Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky. This is a marriage of two casks, one from 1965, the other from 1991, bottled in the 2000s.
The 1965 cask was 41 years of age, but had fallen below 40% ABV. The younger cask of 1991 whisky was added to bring the finished whisky to legal strength.
This is bottle number 135 of 156.
This was bottled for Paul Stewart, son of Scottish Formula One racing legend Sir John Young 'Jackie' Stewart OBE, winner of three World Drivers' Championships.
The label was designed by artist Craigie Aitchison.
