A bottle of De Kuyper Jenever from the Netherlands. This was imported to Italy, we estimate in the 1960s.

Jenever, also known as Genièvre or Genever, is a juniper flavoured spirit that has been produced in the Netherlands and Belgium since the 16th century. It is the precursor to gin.
