A bottle of 1985 Vosne-Romanée red Burgundy bottled by Confuron-Cotetidot, vignerons since the seventeenth century who own around 12 hectares of organically grown vines, which are hand picked and whole-bunch fermented.

The appellation of Vosne-Romanée covers around 150 hectares of exclusively Pinot Noir vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, and is regarded by many as the greatest individual red wine village in Burgundy.
