This lot contains three half bottles of 1989 Coteaux du Layon Rochefort from Domaine de la Motte. Rochefort-sur-Loire in the west of the Loire Valley is one of six Coteaux du Layon Villages designations.
Coteaux du Layon is an appellation for medium sweet wines made from exclusively from Chenin Blanc on the right bank of the river Layon, a tributary of the river Loire.
These bottles come from the collection of a Loire valley wine connoisseur who paid annual visits to Loire valley producers from the late 1980s onward, building up a fantastic inventory of bottles at all sweetness levels. These were stored in the UK in an underground WWII air raid shelter after collection straight from the producers.

Condition
Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear. Please note that two of the labels are detached, and one is badly damaged. The capsule and cork of one of these is damaged on top.
