Description

This lot contains three 50cl bottle of 2002 Orantium - Coteaux du Layon Beaulieu Vendanges Tardive from Château du Breuil from M.Morgat, Vigneron.

Coteaux du Layon is an appellation for medium sweet wines made from exclusively from Chenin Blanc on the right bank of the river Layon, a tributary of the river Loire. Coteaux du Layon Beaulieu-sur-Layon wines are produced from a specific parish in the Anjou district in the west of the Loire Valley.

These bottles come from the collection of a Loire valley wine connoisseur who paid annual visits to Loire valley producers from the late 1980s onward, building up a fantastic inventory of bottles at all sweetness levels. These were stored in the UK in an underground WWII air raid shelter after collection straight from the producers.
