Description

A bottle of 2005 Heidsieck & Co. Monopole Gold Top vintage Champagne, a blend of 35% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Meunier sourced from around 70 different Cru villages from the Champagne region.

Established in 1785. Heidsieck & Co Monopole was founded in Reims by Florens-Louis Heidsieck and is one of the oldest of all Champagne Houses, gaining an international clientele which included the King pf Prussia in the early 1800s and the English Court in the early 1900s. Tsar Nicholas II reportedly purchased two entire train loads annually.
