A pair of Royal Navy Rum flagons, still in their original wooden crate. We estimate these were bottled in the 1950s.
The top panel has the following markings:
R.A.S.C Sups (Royal Army Service Corps Supplies)
This Side Up
Glass With Care
S.S.R.D. RE/PKD 9/67
The back panel is marked PKD 11/55
The left and right panel are both marked: R.A.S.C Sups
The left panel is marked A83
The wax stamps that seal the flagons are embossed.
The original wooden crate was opened for inspection by Whisky.Auction.
This lot includes the two flagons, original wooden crate, sawdust, metal straps and nails are included with the two as part of the lot.
