A bottle of Charmed Circle Golden Promise Strong Water Spirit Drink produced by Holyrood Distillery in the Lowland region of Scotland, from Spring '20.

Golden Promise, a barley famed for its rich flavour, became the darling of Scotch whisky distillers during the malt whisky producing heyday of the Sixties. However, the varietal fell out of favour as it could not compete with the higher spirit producing East German barleys that replaced it.
