A bottle of 2013 Meursault Les Tillets from Patrick Javillier. A 'village' plot situated at the top of the hill in Meursault.
The Javillier estate was founded in 1945 by Raymond Javillier with only two hectares of vines. In 1974 it was handed over to his son, Patrick, who took acquired prime sites in the Meursault appellation including Les Tillets and Les Clousots, and Premier Cru Les Charmes. In 2005 Patrick`s eldest daughter Marion joined the family business.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.
This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
