Description

This lot contains ten half bottles of 2005 Château La Tour Blanche Premier Cru Sauternes.

La Tour Blanche has been a winemaking college for around a century, and produces sweet wines made from its 36 hectares of vines; 80% Sémillon, 15% Sauvignon Blanc and 5% Muscadelle, planted in a single parcel.

'Pale to medium lemon-gold in color, the 2005 La Tour Blanche sashays out with loads of baking spices, stone fruit preserves, and mineral notes with a waft of caramel. It fills the mouth with bright stone fruits and spices plus a racy backbone and beautiful harmony. 95/100'
