Description

A bottle of Claymore Rare Old Scotch whisky, sealed with spring cap closure. This was produced by Macdonald, Greenlees, Ltd. We estimate this was bottled in the 1940s.

A Claymore was a large two-edged sword traditionally used by Scottish Highlanders. It comes from the Gaelic word 'claidheamhmor'.
