A bottle of Latricières Chambertin 1994 from Domaine Faiveley, who own a hectare plot of this Grand Cru appellation. This climat was called Petite Merveille or 'Little Wonder' in the Middle Ages, due to the quality of the wines produced. The name Latricières Chambertin dates back to 1508 and is the most southerly Grand Cru in Gevrey Chambertin. Faiveley's plot was planted in 1958, 1984 and 1989.

This Latricieres Chambertin Grand Cru 1994 sold at our online auction for £70

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note minor damage to the label and capsule.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
