A bottle of Bruno Paillard Nec Plus Ultra Champagne 2004, a 50/50 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blend sourced from six Grand Cru villages, with the first fermentation taking place in small oak barrels. This was disgorged in September 2017 after more than 12 years on lees, and is bottle 4885 of 7119 bottles and 310 magnums produced.
In 1983, Paillard became the first champagne producer to display the disgorgement date on his entire production.
