A bottle of 2012 Brunello di Montalcino Riserva produced in Italy at Cantina Della Fattoria 'Il Greppo'. This is the 39th vintage of the estate's Riserva, and the last to be bottled by Franco Biondi Santi. This is bottle number 005112.
Brunello di Montalcino is produced in Tuscany in vineyards surrounding the town of Montalcino, in the province of Siena, located about 80 kilometres south of Florence. In 1980, Brunello di Montalcino was among the four wines awarded the first Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita (DOCG) designation. Today it is one of Italy's best-known and most expensive wines and is made with 100% Sangiovese.
