A bottle of 2015 Château Quintus, a Grand Cru from the Saint-Emilion appellation. This is a blend of 76% Merlot and 24% Cabernet Franc.

'Owned by Haut-Brion since 2011, this property is getting better with every vintage. This is a

bold, ripe wine, but it’s not over-extracted or figgy. Savoury oak, sweet red fruits, fine tannins

and (most important of all) refreshing acidity combine attractively here. Drink: 2022-30 94/100'

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note general wear.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
