This lot contains two bottles of Viña Fausto Orellana 2005, a single vineyard Malbec produced by Trapiche Argentina's Uco Valley,

'The 2005 Malbec Vina Fausto Orellana is sourced from the coolest of the three single vineyard sites. The sexy bouquet delivers pain grille, mineral, pencil lead, lavender, black cherry, and black raspberry aromas. This leads to an elegant yet powerful wine with serious density, richness, and grip. Its considerable structure is well-concealed under a blanket of velvety fruit. This lengthy, beautifully rendered wine will profit from another 5-7 years of cellaring and be in its prime from 2014 to 2030. 94/100' Robert Parker's Wine Advocate, 2008
