Bottle Auction

This lot contains two bottles of 2016 Morey Saint Denis Premier Cru Les Ruchots from Domaine Pierre Amiot et Fils. The Amiots have been making wine in the Côtes de Nuits for five generations and practice low intervention viticulture from low yields of around 25-35 hectoliters per hectare. Amiot's 52 acre plot of Les Ruchots is situated just below the Clos de Tart Grand Cru, and is made from fruit harvested from vines of over 50 years of age.

This Morey Saint Denis 1er Cru Les Ruchots 2016 sold at our online auction for £160

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note minor wear.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
