A bottle of Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 'Les Demoiselles' 1993 from Louis Jadot.

Louis Jean Baptiste Jadot bought back the vineyard in 1913 from two sisters and named it 'Les Demoiselles' in their honour, the vineyard having previously belonged to his grandfather who had originally bought it in 1845.

Chevalier Montrachet is situated just above Le Montrachet, and is known for its minerality and ultra refined acidity and balance.

This Chevalier Montrachet Les Demoiselles 1993 Grand Cru sold at our online auction for £160

Please see images for fill level and label condition. Note wear to the label.

The Whisky.Auction team has inspected this lot and found it to be suitable for sale. However, please note the absence of a condition statement does not imply that this lot is in perfect condition or free from wear and tear, imperfections or the effects of ageing. We cannot guarantee that the contents of this bottle will be free from the effects of age, cork taint, oxidation or other faults. Older bottles often contain sediment. Wines are more fragile than spirits and older wines may be listed, at our discretion, for their historical interest rather than their drinkability. We can in no way guarantee that they are still within their plateau of maturity or to the buyer’s taste.

This bottle does not appear to be leaking. While we take every care to pack bottles securely we cannot guarantee that old corks and closures will not leak in transit.
