Description

A magnum bottle of 2015 Gut Oggau Winifred Rose 2015, from southern Austria's Burgenland, close to the border with Hungary. This is a field blend produced from two indigenous red grape varieties, roughly 60% of which is Zweigelt and 40% Blaufränkisch. It is unfiltered, unfined and bottled without using sulphides by cult 'natural' winemakers Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe.

This lot comes from the temperature-controlled cellar of a UK businessman and wine enthusiast, where it has been kept since purchase direct from importers.
