Description

A limited edition bottle from The English Whisky Co. Founders Private Cellar. This was distilled from heavily peated barley on 29 July 2008 and matured first in an American Standard Barrel which previously held Jim Beam Bourbon. From there it was transferred to an ex-Jamaican rum cask for further maturation. This cask was deemed outstanding and selected for bottling by distillery founder James Nelstrop on 19 September 2011.

This is bottle number 49 of 119; it was bottled from cask number 0763.
